Your first steps on your Money Max Journey

Here are the first things to do.

Note: If you don't do the following steps in exactly this order, that's okay. But this might be a helpful guide.

#1. SET YOUR GOALS! (do this NOW, don't delay!)

No one starts a road trip without establishing a destination. Okay, hardly anyone! I know a few people ... and so do you! But if you're smart, you will decide where you're going and plan for fuel, money, food, maybe a scenic detour or two, and hitting the hotels at just the right time of the early evening. Otherwise you could get stranded in the middle of nowhere and be out of gas!

Before you do #2 below (meet with your sponsor & trainer), think about what you really want out of UFF & Money Max. Write them down, make a list, don't just keep this in your head. Goal-setting is part of BUILDING your DREAMS!

There are PERSONAL GOALS like getting out of debt, fixing your money problems, helping others if you are mission-driven, maybe earning enough money to spend time with your kids, your aging parents, get a nicer home, travel the world, and BUSINESS & IMPACT GOALS like earning $10,000 a month, replacing 3 part-time jobs that you have cobbled together just to make ends meet, and maybe buying a Youth Ranch for troubled teens or donating to water wells in Nicaragua.

Also think about SHORT-TERM GOALS like how much you would like to get done in the first week or two (make a list of your first 20 prospects, reach out to 10 of them, earn your first $450), and LONG-TERM GOALS such as where you want to be in 1 year, 3 years, and 5-10 years with this. Don't neglect to establish what you want out of this opportunity!

#2. COME TO YOUR FIRST MEETING(S)! ... MEET THE TEAM!

You're not in this business by yourself! Join us right away on your first team Zoom meeting. MEET YOUR TEAM! Feel the vibe, experience the energy, taste our amazing team & corporate culture. This is part of the FUN of being a UFF agent, and it can be vital to your early success. You'll learn a lot and it's a blast! You'll make lifelong friends.

We have meetings almost every day Monday through Thursday, and we generally don't have meetings on Friday's through Sunday's. Please refer to the calendar under EVENTS above (in the Navigation bar, or the 3 lines on your phone), or just click on the button below. Look over all of our events and COME TO THE VERY NEXT MEETING if you can! Also see if you're able to join our next short Morning Mental Workout calls (15-30 minutes) that we have every day on Monday's through Thursday's. Rise & Shine calls are awesome corporate training events on Tuesdays & Thursdays, then you MUST come to a $1k-a-Day call if you possibly can, and bring prospective agents! Plus we have a few evening sessions as well, so look over the calendar and WRITE DOWN SOME EVENTS on your calendar that you think you can attend.

#3. FIRST TRAINING & STRATEGY CALL - within the first 1-3 days!

Please schedule your personal First Training & Strategy Call ASAP with the kind agent who enrolled you. They will book time with one of our CFT's to make sure you can get some "onboarding" but also some vital "mission & strategy" stuff. Your trainer will show you how to log into your back office, customize your 4 "replicated links" for sharing with others, set up your W9 so you can get paid (vital!), enter your first few prospects, and learn about our 3-2-1 Fast Track program!

We also may have a weekly New Agent Onboarding session (on Zoom) with Sandy Northup or one of our expert CFT's. This will be a Group Session but is super informative. Please refer to the calendar under EVENTS above.

#4. GETTING STARTED VIDEOS

We have some short "Getting Started Videos" which are really excellent to watch. Just watch the videos, do not pay attention to the Calendar on this page since that calendar belongs to another team. Very soon we will have videos of our own! In the meantime, please go to the link below, choose NEW AGENT, and watch the 8 short videos there.

#5. LOG INTO YOUR UFF BACK OFFICE

This is the link to log in to your United Financial Freedom (UFF) back office: https://portal.ufinancialfreedom.com. Log in, poke around, see what's there. It's a Virtual Armory of tools & resources for your success!

Use your login credentials of USERNAME and PASSWORD. Write these down in a safe place.

MY USERNAME _______________ (if you forgot this, refer to your initial email from UFF)

MY PASSWORD _____________. (keep this private, or use an app like LastPass to help you remember)

When you are logged in, please explore the TOOLBAR on the left-hand side, including the Prospects menu where you should enter at least 10 prospects. You don't really need their address yet, just their first name, last name, email, and phone number. That will be enough to get started. The rest of the back office will be covered during your onboarding.

#5. INVITE & MAKE APPOINTMENTS!

Your goal is to get qualified individuals or couples onto your CFT's (Certified Field Trainer) calendar for an official Money Max Presentation. You will see their names & booking links above under the CFT's tab. Don't try to explain it yourself! Schedule a time on a CFT's calendar when both you and your friend (or prospect) can attend.

SAMPLE "FIRST SCRIPT" (for friends):

Hey, xxxxx. Can you do me a huge favor? Do you have 30 minutes today or tomorrow (or specify time frame)? I have something I would love to show you. (wait for answer, they may ask "What is it?")

That's a good question! As I said, I'd like to show you something. I found something that can help people pay off their 30-year mortgage in as little as 5-7 years. It's not refinancing or anything like that. It's a software platform that uses advanced mathematics that often saves people $50,000 or more, and usually 20 years or more on their mortgage payments. I'm using it myself and it's pretty awesome!

Would you have 30 minutes today or tomorrow (or specify time frame)? I don't know if its a good fit for you or not, but I would love for you to show it to you! Maybe you could at least send me some referrals!

If they say yes, then say, "May I ask you a couple of quick questions?" ... "Do you still have a mortgage?" (yes) ... "Is it a 30-year mortgage?" (yes) ... "How many years have you been paying on it?" (2 years, 5 years, whatever they say) ... "Okay, great! Thank you. Let's pick a time on my trainer's calendar that works for both of us." Schedule them as the main contact with yourself as the "guest." Don't expect them to set the appointment. You do it! (Note: If they still have 20 years or more to pay on their mortgage, if they are married with jobs and kids, they are ideal prospects!)

#6. START SHARING INFORMATION

Alternatively, if people just want you to "send them some information," you can use one of your replicated websites in your back office to show them a video or more information. You can also use this as an easy way of contacting lots of people quickly ... just ask them if they will watch a 2-minute video if you send it to them, then you can call.

There are 4 replicated website links in your back office under your NAME at the top right, 4th link down, Replicated Websites. You can choose your own "custom extension" that makes each link more customized, more "your own." You can use your NAME if you wish ( ... /AprilSmith) or a branded extension (... SuccessWithMoney). Note that it will ignore capital letters for your custom extension; I just put those you could "read" the examples.

Your links will generally be something like the following ... (the labels on the left are my own, to help you understand what each link is).

You will look at these during your onboarding, but usually you will share the 2nd link with them if they might just become a customer, and the 1st link if they might wish to join our Agent team. The "Videos" link (3rd one) takes people on a "deeper dive" of the Money Max program, and the 4th link is for "free affiliates" (who can still earn some great money FOR FREE - just not as much as agents).

You might open all of these links yourself and read through and/or watch everything just so you know what is there. It will also be a great education for you! Plus then you will know where things are if you want to send something to someone, something specific. The videos, for instance, range from 2 minutes 30 seconds up through about 20 minutes, and different links might be better for different people.

#7. THINK ABOUT .... IDEAL, QUALIFIED PROSPECTS

You can just share Money Max with anyone who has a mortgage, but your ideal prospects actually have these characteristics, and you will be well-served to make a list of everyone you know who is ...

1. MARRIED COUPLE

2. AGE 27-55

3. HAS KIDS (young up through teens)

4. DEBT OF $80,000 or more

Can people who don't fall into all of these categories benefit from Money Max? Will many people purchase it even if they aren't married, are younger or older, don't have kids, or have less than $80,000? Yes, absolutely, but the 4 things above define the "sweet spot," your primary target. We can help everyone with debt, but these are typically the people you can help the most.

IDEAL AGENTS

In addition to "ideal clients" you might think about your "ideal agents" ... those you are personable, kind, with previous sales or teaching experience, or mission-driven to help people, professionals who would like to add another stream of income, like realtors, mortgage lenders, accountants, bookkeepers, financial advisors, or insurance agents.  Folks in these professional categories can make idea "referral partners" for you, and they are generally open to earning extra commissions on the same sales they are already making in their primary professions.

#8. SCRIPTS / CLARIFY YOUR APPROACH

You don't want to "be a robot," but you need to think through the best way to contact people, practice a few times (role play) with your sponsor and/or CFT, and then practice on your family members as guinea pigs! They may even be more receptive if you just say that you "need to practice" your approach in sharing your new business. If they get interested and purchase the MMA or want to join the business, all the better!

HOW TO INVITE

Some ideas: 

1) “If I were to show you how you could pay off your 30-year mortgage in as little as 5-7 years, and ALL other debts too, and save you $50,000 or more in interest, would that be worth 30 minutes of your time just to learn more?” (sometimes you can add, "Plus I would love your feedback on the program. I really value your opinion.")

2) “Do you have time right now to watch a 2-minute video? If so, I would love to send it to you and follow up with a quick phone call." (If they say no, ask them when they have 5 minutes, and say that's all you are asking for. If they say yes, send your "2nd link" - the first MoneyMax link - from your custom "replicated sites" and tell them you will call them in 5 minutes after they have a chance to watch the first video). Your goal is NOT to have them read everything and watch everything, just to "get the idea" of Money Max and then book an appointment.

3) What are you doing on Monday (Tue, Wed, Thu) at 11 am EDT (or, pick your time zone)? Are you free to attend an important meeting with me on Zoom? (wait for their answer, make sure they are available, then invite them to the $1,000-a-Day call which gives a great overview of the MMA but also the Agent Opportunity. If they attend, make sure to follow up immediately after the call with a quick 5-minute 3-way call with your sponsor or CFT.

4) Use one of the scripts in your Back Office, or your own adaptation of it. Once you get something you like, use it again and again until you get really good at it!

5) For real estate agents, mortgage brokers, bookkeepers & accountants, etc., tell them that you have a new program that might fit perfectly with what they are doing in (real estate, etc.) and you would love to share with them. Ask them if they have 30 minutes to an hour, then invite them to a $1,000-a-Day call, or an Agent Opportunity call, or to have a short phone call with you and your CFT for 5-10 minutes, and so forth. Tell them they can potentially really "set themselves apart" from all of the other RE agents (etc.) out there with this program, and also help a lot of people, plus earn an extra commission.

6) Add their name to the Self-Accountability Tracker sheet in your back office and refer to this sheet every day to follow up with people. Build your list every day! If it's not with the Tracker sheet, use your own method.

#9. FOLLOW UP!!

Have you heard the saying, "The fortune is in the follow-up?" It's true!

Be diligent about following up, and create a system that works for you, then work your system.

Here are some possible techniques. Create a Contact List of everyone you want to follow up with, then on a separate list (or the same list) make a Follow-Up List of everyone you have contacted or met with. Keep notes as to the results, then look over your Follow-up List daily to reach back out to folks.

If people have questions during your follow-up, use that as an opportunity to schedule a meeting with your CFT so that your trainer can answer their questions and close the sale. Don't try to do everything yourself (including explaining) especially when you're not a CFT yet. That's what they are trained to do!

If possible, use their questions to schedule their free Debt-Free-Life platform demo with your chosen UFF certified trainer.  Tell them that they will get their own Debt-Freedom Date and free customized Savings Report. Let your CFT show you how to use his or her link for scheduling these demo's. Get really good at this. This is a critical skill!

#10. CREATE YOUR "RANK ADVANCEMENT" STRATEGY

Don't plan your entire UFF life here, just plan the NEXT STEP with your sponsor and CFT, then work diligently at advancing to the NEXT RANK.

When you are brand new, make sure that you shoot for doing the 3-2-1 in your first 45 days. That's the company maximum for doing the 3-2-1, but ... your can do it much faster!! I suggest that you try to do this in your first 2 weeks, maybe even your first week! Can you do it? Absolutely!

What is the 3-2-1? Simply, it is recruiting 3 new agents, making 2 training sales with your CFT, then 1 more sale after that which is either by yourself, or usually, still "with your CFT trainer" but you get the full sales credit for that last personal sale. This will put you on a FAST TRACK for RANK ADVANCEMENT all the way through ED - Executive Director! So it's hugely important for moving through the ranks quickly, and you will also 1) make some great money while doing it, 2) start your own UFF team out with a bang! Make sure to plan with your CFT how to make this happen!

Make sure you understand what the ranks are, and that you know where on your Back Office dashboard you can see where you currently are (Associate, Senior Associate, Director, Senior Director, etc.) and how you can see the requirements for moving to next rank. You should always know "where you are" and what you need to do to advance. This can be very motivating!

Also, don't forget to ask your CFT to explain "volume bonuses" to you, or if there are any special promotions going on this month. Sometimes that can put hundreds of extra dollars in your pocket! Again, it can also be very motivating.

MORE TIPS

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CFT

When it comes time to "choose a CFT," you will first need to enter your prospect into your Back Office under Prospects (see the Toolbar on the left-hand side), then if you click on your prospect's name it will open up a box on the right where you can select a CFT to assign your prospect to for their Analysis demo.

There are many CFT's on the drop-down list, but normally you will choose a CFT from our team. See the CFT's tab above to get familiar with our team's wonderful CFT's. Get acquainted with each of them. They all have something wonderful to offer to you! Wisdom, support, encouragement, inspiration, as well as practice tips which are invaluable.

Ask your sponsor which CFT's they would recommend that you utilize for 1) your first Training & Strategy call, and 2) your first 2 training sales and beyond. Usually that will be the same CFT and it will be the "nearest CFT in line" to your position on your team. Your sponsor might actually be a CFT herself/himself, or the sponsor of your sponsor. Sometimes you might use another CFT for a strategic reason, such as being a better fit for a particular client.
